This development demolished and re-constructed most of the School. It was designed taking current theories on design of learning studios into account and created classrooms, that children’s school results tell us, have stimulated maximum learning opportunities. Large outdoor sheltered congregation spaces which are well utilised are provided for both standard and specialised classroom blocks. The design concept was developed around a requirement to maximise sight lines for the teachers from the playing fields. Circulation routes for children on foot, children on bicycles and school visitors arriving by car were well considered.
