This tired and disjointed set of commercial buildings required an upgrade to the frontages. Working together with the client Allan Copas, JDTA provided a modern, unified and integrated frontage across three buildings comprising the Copas ownership.
The style and colour scheme has been appropriately but not overtly influenced by Napier’s Art Deco heritage so that the Copas buildings can fit comfortably with the central character of the city. This has provided a new lease of life for the buildings and their occupants, as well as stimulating subsequent regeneration in the local area.
